1
How long will the work take?
Each service has it's own time frame. For example, sanding and refinishing flooring depending on size can take 2-5 days. This estimate will vary greatly based on the amount of square feet needing work, factoring in moving furniture and appliances, or we come across any flooring that needs repair. We always want to cause the least amount of disturbance in your home, but we hold ourselves to high standards and will never rush.
2
What is the difference between laminate and LVP?
Laminate flooring consists of a base layer of plywood or fiberboard topped with a printed image of finished wood. Cost will vary based on the final look of your flooring. This type of flooring can susceptible to water damage due to the base layer being plywood or fiberboard.
LVP (luxury vinyl plank) is a product made of multiple vinyl layers put together to form a real wood look. Cost will vary based on the final look of your flooring. LVP is glued down to a base floor and is waterproof with proper, professional installation/products.
Both of these products can be stain and scratch resistant with the proper care and maintenance.
If you're having trouble deciding what's best for you, when we come out for an estimate we can make a recommendation based on traffic volume, location in the home and budget.

How will a homeowners insurance claim work?
Most insurance companies will send an inspector out to your home, evaluate any damage and provide the policy holder with a check to perform repairs. Some companies may choose to send your contractor the check directly. If the cost of work ends up being more than what the adjuster has estimated, we will provide you with our estimate with a breakdown of cost to forward to your insurance. In the rare case they choose not to allow extra funds, you will be responsible for the remaining balance.
4
How does your pricing work?
Pricing will vary based on the amount and degree of work needing completion. All pricing is done per square foot. Additional costs may be added on if furniture or appliances must be moved. An estimate will be provided once we come out to take measurements and evaluate what needs to be done. Once an estimate is sent out, you may take as long as you need to decide. However, your estimate is only valid for two weeks as cost of materials are subject to change at any time. We require half down as a deposit to place you on our schedule.
